Slyce Cinematic

Slyce is the biggest and most ambitious project I’ve ever created. It’s a deeply cinematic experience made up of five unique environments, each designed to tell a part of a larger, interconnected story. From the beginning, my goal was to let the world itself tell the narrative; using space, atmosphere, and visual design instead of direct exposition.

Each environment serves as a chapter, with its own tone, pacing, and visual identity. One of the biggest challenges (and most rewarding parts) of the project was designing each environment from the ground up. I wanted every space to have its own identity, its own emotional weight, and its own visual language. That meant crafting unique lighting setups, color palettes, soundscapes, and environmental details for each one. Every decision was intentional, from how light poured through a window, to the pacing of camera movement, to the textures on a wall, all of it working together to tell a story without words.

I wanted the project to feel cinematic and immersive, and I focused heavily on the quality and mood of each scene to achieve that. From the very beginning, I aimed to create environments that didn’t just look good but felt alive, filled with history, tension, and meaning.

Slyce earned me first-class marks, largely due to the strength of the environments and the overall cinematic quality of the project. It’s a piece of work I’m extremely proud of, and it represents everything I love about designing environments with purpoese and storytelling through design.
